About Hayley

Hayley grew up in an exquisite area of British countryside known as the Home Counties; an awkward part of England that's too north to really be classed as the South and not quite in the middle enough to be part of the Midlands.

Fed up of geographical ambiguity she moved to Norwich, in the heart of East England, to study at the University of East Anglia. While there, she discovered a love for making radio magic and examining how politics, culture, media and religion so often find themselves entwined. After four years in Norwich, deciding to pursue her teenage dream of working in magazines, she upped sticks and moved to Yorkshire to read MA in Magazine Journalism at the University of Sheffield. There, while learning about the perfect print-online circle every magazine dreams of, she discovered her love for creating quality online content.

Working as a freelance web editor, blogger and social media manager, with a dollop of column writing, copywriting and pretty much anything else that involves writing something about anything for other people, she moved to Frankfurt, Germany in 2012.

Two years later, you'll find her still there, and still writing for other people to pay the bills. But now she's a Copywriter at a leading international advertising agency. Covering anything and everything, from social media, real time and SEO content to print campaigns, internal brochures and scripts.

Rarely are two days ever the same. So, it's a good job she likes it that way, as she happily embraces her inner geek and awkwardly tries to write about herself in the third person. Be nice.
